Fire Administrative Professionals Workshop

Fire Department administrative staff carry a heavy burden. Without a strong administrative staff, organizations cannot achieve their full potential and operate efficiently. The goal of this conference is to provide position-specific training and development opportunities and to help connect FIRE/EMS administrative staff members enabling them to provide the highest level of support possible.

You do not need a membership with TFCA to attend this course.

Call for Presentations

The Texas Fire Administrative Professionals invites you to submit a presentation to be considered for the 2027 workshop. Presentations should be educational in nature and free from sales pitches.

Presentations could range from 45 minutes - 1.5 hours and allow time for Q&A. Submissions will be reviewed by the planning committee and you will be notified by October 30, 2026 if selected.

Registration Information

The Fire Administrative Professionals Workshop is available to all fire administrative professionals. You do not need to be a member of TFCA to attend and we do accept out-of-state attendees. Registration includes access to 2.5 days of presentations and open discussion with those likeminded professionals. Breakfast is provided Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and lunch and dinner are on your own each day.

2027 Registration Prices

Regular Registration Fee - $425
Includes: 2.5 days of professional programming and daily breakfast.

Registration is expected to open October 2026.

Hotel Information

TFCA will secure a limited room block at a discounted rate at the host hotel. Reservations will be available to book when registration opens in October 2026.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be given for written requests received three weeks prior to the event. A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations received two weeks prior to the event. No refunds will be issued beginning two weeks before the event. Cancellations must be received in writing from the original registrant to [email protected]. No cancellations will be taken by phone.

Registrants who do not attend the conference and/or do not contact TFCA via written correspondence during the set window as directed above will be responsible for the full attendee registration fee.

Substitution Policy

Substitute attendees may be in advance, or during onsite registration. Notification of substitution must be submitted in writing from the original registrant to [email protected]. No substitutions will be taken by phone.
