The 4.5-day Battalion Chiefs Academy empowers aspiring and new Battalion Chiefs with strategic leadership skills. Focusing on guiding principles rather than tactical aspects, our comprehensive training equips participants to excel in their roles. Join us for a transformative learning experience, honing critical decision-making abilities and paving the way for success as fire service leaders.

TFCA is excited to host two Battalion Chiefs Academies in 2024.

  • October 28 – November 1 | College Station, TX

Each class is limited 60 attendees.

Sun., May 5th | 4:00 – 6:00 pm | Registration
Mon., May 6th – Thurs., May 9th | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm | Required Academy Classes
Fri., May 10th | 8:00 am – 12:00 pm | Required Academy Classes and Graduation

Breakfast will be served Monday - Friday. Lunch will be served Monday - Thursday. Dinner is on your own each night.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be given for written requests received on or before April 15, 2024. A 50% refund will be issued for written requests received between April 16 – 21, 2024. No refunds will be issued after April 22, 2024. Cancellations must be received in writing from the original registrant to [email protected]. No cancellations will be taken by phone.

Registrants who do not attend the conference and/or do not contact TFCA via written correspondence during the set window as directed above will be responsible for the full attendee registration fee.

Substitution Policy

Substitute attendees may be named prior to the event or during on-site registration. Notification of substitution must be submitted in writing from the original registrant to [email protected]. No substitutions will be taken by phone.
