Company Officer Symposium

Daniel E. DeYear, Deputy Chief (ret.) from Dallas Fire-Rescue will be teaching this high-energy program and will address the hottest issues and challenges facing company officers in today’s Fire Service. This program addresses MANY topics such as Communication, Trust, Ethics, Diversity, Generational challenges, CISM, Accountability, and Social Media to name just a few. This is NOT a “Top-down” lecture on how to be a company officer. Recall the passion you owned when you entered the Fire Service? You will, when you rekindle the knowledge and experience you bring to the Company Officer rank. Are you a brand-new officer (or about to be), searching for a spark for preparedness? This program is for all company officers and will enhance your "Love of The Game!”

This program is exclusively tailored for company officers, and to foster open dialogue, individuals holding any title of 'Chief' are not permitted to attend.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be given for written requests received on or before two weeks before the event’s start date. No refunds will be issued after two weeks before the event’s start date. Cancellations must be received in writing from the original registrant to [email protected]. No cancellations will be taken by phone.

Registrants who do not attend the conference and/or do not contact TFCA via written correspondence during the set window as directed above will be responsible for the full attendee registration fee.

Substitution Policy

Substitute attendees may be named prior to the event or during on-site registration. Notification of substitution must be submitted in writing from the original registrant to i[email protected]. No substitutions will be taken by phone.
